DeltaFusion Receives Grant from the James Irvine Foundation

“DeltaFusion received a two-year $70,000 grant from the James Irvine Foundation, through the Exploring Engagement Fund,” announced Cathie McClellan, The Pacific’s Theatre Arts, and Joanna Albala, COP Director of Research Initiatives.

The grant is one of 20 awarded this year in the second round of the Exploring Engagement program selected from 28 applicants drawn from an initial field of 150 proposals.

DeltaFusion, a celebration of diversity, and the cultural and geographic richness of the Delta area, began last summer through the combined efforts of Theatre Arts, Visual Arts, and the Haggin Museum. After the first two successful years, the festival will again take place at Victory Park, adjacent to the Rose Garden on the Park grounds on the last Saturday of June 2013.
