DeltaFusion at Stockton Earth Day

DeltaFusion at Stockton Earth Day

Last Sunday, April 21, DeltaFusion participated in the Stockton Earth Day festival.

Many people visited our booth getting information about the free community workshops and the Parade and Pageant. We were happy to see a lot of kids ask questions about the masks and puppets we had on display. They also got to make their own paper-masks! Our volunteers walked around the park dresses as the Great Blue Heron and the Little DeltaFusion. Many people stopped them to take photos and ask questions about DeltaFusion.

Please join us this weekend, Saturday, April 27 in the Education Center at the Haggin Museum for an information meeting about becoming a workshop mentor in this year’s DeltaFusion production, The Strength of Many.

We need many hands for designing, building and teaching during the workshop weeks, June 10 – 14 and 17 – 21, as well as during the rehearsal week of June 24 – 28, and the pageant on June 29!

Come and see some footage from last year’s event and meet organizers and lead artists. Come if you have any questions or if you want to register for the workshops.

Please, call us at 209-940-6315 or email education@hagginmuseum.org, if you have any questions – we’d love to see you there!
